49 CFR 40.121 — Who is qualified to act as an MRO? To be qualified to act as an MRO in the DOT drug testing program, you must meet each of the requirements of this section: (a) Credentials
49 CFR 40.13 — How do DOT drug and alcohol tests relate to non-DOT tests? (a) DOT tests must be completely separate from non-DOT tests in all respects

49 CFR 40.21 — May an employer stand down an employee before the MRO has completed the verification process? (a) As an employer, you are prohibited from standing employees down, except consistent with a waiver a DOT agency grants under this section

(a) As a SAP, you are charged with: (1) Making a clinical assessment and evaluation to determine what assistance is needed by the employee to resolve problems associated with alcohol and/or drug use

As the collector, you must take the following steps before actually beginning a collection: (a) When a specific time for an employee's test has been scheduled, or the collection site is at the employee's work site, and the employee does not appear at the collection site at the scheduled time, contact the DER to determine the appropriate interval within which the DER has determined the employee is authorized to arrive
